Many fans of "The Lord of the Rings" were waiting for an outstanding, awesome fan film based upon the "The Lord of the Rings" universe, under the name of "The Hunt for Gollum".
Fans were not disappointed. This film has everything (and a little more) that we expected, but we (the fans) are not able to download High Definition copy of this film ("The Hunt for Gollum") due to a condition made by Tolkien Enterprises.
Tolkien Enterprises, as the copyright holder, has the right to allow or deny the free distribution of a non-profitable film made by fans.
Anyway, we (the fans) want to have a High Definition copy of the "Hunt for Gollum" to download, make our own DVD's and enjoy this master piece at home, and increment our collection of "The Lord of the Rings" movies, so we ask for Tolkien Enterprises to give the permission to "The Hunt for Gollum" production team to share a High Definition version and/or DVD images for the fans to download.

This is a sensational little film. Perhaps Tolkien Enterprises would consider overseeing a release on DVD for purchase (cost only; no profit to the makers) as it adds to canon and promotes interest in all Tolkien's works.
