Dear Miss Universe 2009 Organisers:
The whole Bolivian community all around the world is deeply disappointed, realising that Ms. Karen Schwarz, Miss Peru 2009 will wear a typical dress supposedly from hers country. Unfortunately, dear gentlemen, that Diablada dress is an icon of the Oruros carnival Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Besides of having its roots in the city of Oruro-Bolivia, this Diablada dancing is one of the most known Bolivian dancing. It is an insult Ms. Karen Sw. shows off in an event that is viewed worldwide in a Bolivian dress, without giving any recognition to us, Bolivian people. We demand Ms. Karen to be disqualified from the typical dresss contest for wearing something that does belong to ORURO-Bolivia.
