PETITION TO EXTEND EXISTING "RESOLUTION 55/282 INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE"
FOR ADDITIONAL 365 DAYS.
Calling the attention of all individuals and nations, joined together under the General Assembly of the United Nations, to Resolution 55/282, paragraph 3, which "ivites all member states, orgaizations of the United Nations system, regional and non-governmental organizations and individuals to commemorate, in an appropriate manner, The International Day of Peace, including through education and public awareness, and to cooperate with the United Nations in the establishment of the global ceasefire."
To all already active supporters of Peace process, we propose to extend Resolution 55/282 for an additional 365 days.
