We, the undersigned, respectfully request that The AGLC change the definition of “nudity” as described in the current codebook from:
“5.11.1 "Nude" means the exposure of genitals (male or female) and/or breasts (female), whether the person is fully or partially unclothed. These body parts are considered exposed if covered only by paint or another non-fabric substance (e.g., mud, ink, tape, etc.)”
To:

We are suggesting that the AGLC’s definition of nudity include only the exposure of “genitals (male or female)” and not the exposure of “breasts (female)”. This would allow Alberta Burlesque Artists to perform in pasties in licensed establishments for the entertainment of adult audiences, without the intention of performing topless and without being subjected to the AGLC’s Nude Entertainment Regulations.
