Petition to Mr. John Kerry for Democracy in Haiti

We, the undersigned, Haitian-Americans of New York and the Tri-State area, give our full support to your candidacy. We urge you, however, to respect the will of the people of Haiti by:

1)Removing the de facto government of Boniface-Latortue.

2)Releasing all the members of the Aristide government namely Prime Minister Yvon Neptune, Senator Yvon Feuille, Minister of Interior Joslem Privert, Gerard Mathelier, along with the Lavalas supporters, Father Gerard Jean-Juste, Annette Auguste (So Ann), illegally arrested and thrown in jail by the Boniface-Latortue government.

3)Disarming the thugs of FRAPH and arresting their leader, Louis Jodel Chamblain, recently freed by the Boniface-Latortue government after a speedy and fake trial.

4)Allowing the people of Haiti to elect the president of their choice for five years in free and undirected presidential elections in Haiti.

5)Removing the so-called peacekeeping force including the United Nations that is in fact a force of occupation.

6)Cutting the ongoing interferences of the U.S. government via the U.S. Embassy in Haiti and the NGOs that are not working for the benefit of the people of Haiti, in the administration of Haiti by its people and for its people.

7)Restoring the democratic government of Jean-Bertrand Aristide.
