Petition to Retain Eric Hankey

We strongly urge LAUSD to retain Eric Hankey as the performing arts teacher at Westchester High School. Performing arts is an integral part of the curriculum for every child. Mr. Hankey has rebuilt the performing arts department at WHS and has inspired countless students to participate and excel in the Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band & Combo, Drumline, Dance Team, Drill Team, Flag Team, and Theatre Production. Without Mr. Hankey and the performing arts department, students are likely to look at options other than WHS.
