Whereas Jack's Pond has been designated as part of the Staten Island Bluebelt, and has been scheduled for major restoration, and Whereas the environmental health of Jack's Pond has steadily deteriorated we petition the CITY OF NEW YORK DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION (NYCDEP) to initiate all major renovations scheduled for the Jack's Pond Bluebelt area by Spring 2007.
