In 1998, on the eve of their closure, the FASA corporation released Crimson Skies. Crimson Skies is an incredibly fun board game of dogfighting aces in a parallel universe United states.
In 2000, FASA closed its doors. Selling off it's intellectual properties. Wizkids got Battletech and Shadowrun, Microsoft bought Crimson Skies outright.
Since that time, the original Crimson Skies game has never been reprinted. It is a very hot and very rare item.
At the time of this writing, there are no copies available for sale anywhere on the internet.
That is saying something.
I believe that it would be very profitable for Microsoft to reprint this game and introduce it to a whole new generation of gamers.
My formal petition to Microsoft is that Microsoft should license FanPro to reprint the classic Crimson Skies rules in some form.
