We, the PSP (Playstation Portable) owners would like you to release a Phantasy Star Online game onto our handhelds. Many fans of the series remember the online installments mainly from the Dreamcast, which turned out to be a total hit. If you are wondering if it would actually work on the PSP heres some ideas:
1) The PSPs' controls are similar if not the same as the Sega Dreamcasts controller. (1 analog, 2 "shoulder" buttons, and 4 face buttons) So really there wouldn't be a need for to much effort put into control mapping.
2)Honestly the PSP could handle a game like this, because when playing the main game it's only 1-4 players per game. And the lobbies could probably hold about up to 32 people.
3)One of the things we know you guys are big about is downloadable content. The Dreamcast had it's VMU and the PSP has its Memory Stick Duos, so the content would go safe and sound on there, not to mention the UMD can hold alot of data itself.
4)Communication is very important in these types of games, yes an on-screen keyboard is mandatory, but where the PSP could shine in this department is by using voice chat throught the PSP headset.
We hope that this petition convinces you (the developers) to consider making, or even porting a Phantasy Star Online title to the Playstation Portable.

PSO on PSP.....it just rings like a bell, *sigh* the DC version will always have a place in my heart, this could potentially be the best fit for the series though. Being on a handheld with nearly endless amount a memory using sandisk just makes this title
