Please Support Comprehensive Immigration Reform and Urge the American Consulate of Casablanca to Reopen

Dear Consul General and Ambassador of the United States of America,
We are as petitioners and applicants demanding your honors to reopen the consulate as soon as feasibly possible.
We are disheartened about the length of processing time for my husband's immigrant relative Visa. It has been over a year now and like other applicants we are still waiting for the consulate to reopen from recent events in Casablanca. As we are respecting the security measure are being taken for human lives. We feel all applicants are suffering the consequences from the closure. We have a list with request to change policies and procedures in processing these visas and reform our visa system and eliminate the length of time and visa backlog that senselessly keep US families separated for years in addition to creating a realistic processing dates which are efficient so that applicants can enter the US from a faster process in order to be reunited with their families.
Moreover, we request that there should be one specific department which processes all immigrant visas instead of duplicating the process from USCIS to NVC to the Consulate. Furthermore, in such cases there should be a designated place to continue business for all applicants when emergences occur like what happened in Casablanca.
Finally, when the consulate resumes normal business hours we feel all applicants petitions should be expedited with no further delays. We strongly urge your department to reopen the consulate within the next few weeks because we feel the security measures should be in place by now.
