Property Owner Notification of Land Use Designation Changes

As part of the current Calaveras County General Plan Update, the Board of Supervisors has chosen a land use pattern (Map of Alternative B & C Figure 2) which changes the Land Use Designation for a large number of properties in Calaveras County.
The change in Land Use Designation changes the development rights that were present when the property was purchased. It has become clear that property owners must take action to protect their property rights.
We the undersigned request the County:
Notify every property owner that Land Use Designations are changing and how to inquire as to what the Land Use Designation is for any parcel.
Notify every property owner whos Land Use Designation is changing: What his new Land Use Designation is and how to use the land use map appeal process.
