We, the undersigned, request the following of the Town of Washington Planning Board:
1. Septic usage should be monitored by the Town and kept to 692 gallons the applicant originally asked for and not the 1012 gallons as suggested by Neil Wilson, Town of Washington Planning Board consultant.
2. The original use of Mabbettsville Market was a market for local produce and groceries without a food service component. A food service component requires restaurant seating, a public restroom and additional water use. As these factors may endanger the Millbrook water shed and drinking supply, we request that stringent controls be set in place by the Town of Washington Planning Board and monitored independently for the life of the business in this area.
