Protection Warrior Redux

Dear ladies and gentlemen from Blizzard Entertainment,





this is my online petition to give back to us WoW protection warriors what you have taken from us. Also some other important changes and solutions are included.

1. Passive rage generation.


Since the beginning of WoW the rage generation by damage taken works the wrong way. With getting better gear the damage taken is decreasing so also the rage generated is decreasing. The passive rage generadion (passive = by getting hit) must be changed to damage avoided by parry and dodge and damage absorbed by block, defense stance, resistences and armor class. This will make it possible to get better in rage generation with getting better gear what ends in a performance scaling like all other classes do. Better gear means doing a better job what means in the case of a warrior generating lots of hate and to do so rage is needed. Please have a look at my homepage to see my suggestions.





2. Most aggro skills are not linked with defensive values.


The 41 talent "Devastate" is linked with the weapon damage what makes absolut no sense. Also "Sunder Armor" and "Revenge" do not scale with better tanking gear while others' classes hate generation is increasing from item to item. A green equipped warrior is building up nearly the same hate as a epic warrior does or even more because of better rage generation by getting more damage. 3. Druids are allowed to deal up to 70\% of a rogues damage while tanking.


A druid in bear form deals up to 70\% of a rogues damage while he has more armor class as a protection warrior and even builds up lots of aggro. He's also the master of tanking more than two Mobs because of his skills. He has more hitpoints, is able to crowd control, heal, battlerezz and spend innervate. Protection warriors must be buffed. 4. The protection tree is not important enough.


The talents included in the protection tree are not important enough to make a defense skilled warrior the absolut best tanking class in the game while the talents of the offensive trees leading to a high performance damagedealer. Please have a look at my homepage to see my suggestions.





5. The protection tree does not allow to play PvP or farm gold even questing is no real fun.


The Protection tree does not make any sense other than PvE tanking. The damageoutput of a protection warrior must be buffed to allow him playing WoW like other classes can do. Another very simple solution would be to allow every WoW player to reskill without spending gold. Please have a look at my homepage to see my suggestions.
