We, the people of the Clark County community of Las Vegas, Nevada hereby state that we expressly and unequivocally oppose the indecent exposure that is plaguing our community.

Our Clark County community as a whole is being exposed to advertisements of sexually explicit publication that is now compromising our children. These advertisements are in residential neighborhoods near bus stops (Pebble and Las Vegas Boulevard, Richmar and Las Vegas Boulevard) that children of all ages must pass by daily. These advertisements are too easily accessed and to add insult to injury they do not appear to be monitored and they are free of charge! Most Nevadan residents are well aware that explicit advertisements are being passed out on the Las Vegas strip (Las Vegas Boulevard) and the remnants are all over the side walks that children and adults from all over the world walk down on a daily basis. This is an outrage! It is our moral responsibility to take a stance! Who will protect our youth if we dont? Advertisements soliciting scantly dressed women are now circulating throughout neighborhoods, threw mobile billboard services.

Children should not be exposed to these images, this not only promotes promiscuity, but it snatches away the purity and innocence of our youth. We feel advertising companies are choosing to abuse their First Amendment Right, in the name of Freedom of Speech. It is evident that these advertisement companies are not thinking about the tremendous impact they are having on our children and our community. The love of money has led them astray; this is at the expense of our children. It has gone too far. We must have a voice; we must defend what is right!
