Re-commission High Hopes

Since 2002 High Hopes has consistently delivered first class humour that has never failed to bring smiles to the faces of the people of Wales, as fans, we have no doubt that it would bring many more hours of viewing pleasure to people across the border given a chance on network television across the U.K. and further.
The recent news of BBC Wales failing to commission further series of High Hopes following the massive success of series 6, which aired in Autumn 2008, comes as very sad news and we, the viewing public, who like to think that the BBC listen to our views, would like to ask the BBC to re-commission High Hopes for further series. We believe that it has a lot more to give and can cause a lot more laughter amongst the somewhat gloomy and mundane television weve become accustomed to in recent years. The writers, actors and crew involved deserve to be given more time to enjoy the experiences theyve become so fond of whilst making High Hopes.
In closing, High Hopes is a Welsh treasure and in the current world climate, none of us can afford to lose any one of the few things that make us smile. We, the fans, implore the British Broadcasting Corporation to re-commission High Hopes for further series and specials until it runs its natural course so that we can enjoy watching it in years to come.
