Reduce CO2 emissions

It came to my attention that the Coca Cola company beverages use soda that contains 4.5 grams CO2 per liter.
(value taken from the Belgian Coca Cola site: http://www.cocacolabelgium.be/content/coke_nl_merken_1_6_62.asp)
If you'd take an average of 1 liter of the soda in general, per inhabitant of Belgium, over the course of 365 days,
this would add up to an estimate of 16425 tons of CO2, for Belgium (10 million inhabitants) alone.
Personally, I would be happy with a drink that contains 25 to 50 \% less bubbles.
This would mean lowering the amount of Carbonic Acid (H2CO3) added to the drink.
This molecule is instable and splits automatically in water (H2O) and Carbon dioxide (CO2).
(For more details, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbonic_acid)
It might not seem or be that much, but as evidenced in the movie "An inconvenient truth",
it's the the sum of the parts that can make the difference in the long run.
This petition is a humble request aimed at the Coca Cola company, a market leader in drinks worldwide,
to be the first to set the tone by aiding in reducing the CO2 levels.
If a company like this would be willing to help the planet,
we sincerely hope this will trigger a chain reaction and set an example for other industries to follow.
