We, the students and parents of CPCHS, would like Ms. Cathy Kellam, School Secretary, to return to Community Partners Charter High School. We feel that Ms. Kellam was not treated fairly and under distressed circumstances and publicly undermined and humiliated in front of several student witnesses from Dr. Janet Lowry. We also agree that she is also a victim of slander and harassment.
Ms. Kellam is someone we all loved and could come to her for anything. She had heart, determination, and did what her job description required and more. She has built a positive relationship with parents, students and staff that can never be replaced. She never left a student upset and she always did everything with a smile. Since she left the company, we have seen disorder and unnecessary discipline and harassment towards students.
By signing this petition, the students, parents and staff are asking that Ms. Cathy Kellam be reinstated with CPCHS in her original position as School Secretary as well as a request for an appropriate apology and better work environment.
