Mr. Shahid Malik
Dear Sir,
We would like to bring your attention to the case of Muhammad Fahad, an innocent Pakistani school teacher who has been held captive on false and unproven charges in India since 5 years. News of Fahad's arrest appeared in Rediff News India on January 19 2007 and in The Hindu dated August 6 2008. In both reports, Fahad was alleged as a "terrorist", "aid to terror", "ISI suspect" and what not.
His actual story was reported by the following referenced media outlets:
*Roznama Jurrat front Page pic with Ansar Burney [ 4th March, 2008]
*Roznama Ummat detailed report, 5 March, 2008, Page Three, Bottom
*Roznama Jung brief report (But Important One), 17 may, 2007, Page 3.
*Roznama Ummat brief news, 9 December, 2007.
*Daily Express detailed report, Front Page, 6 March, 2008

We urge you and our statesmen in India to pick up this matter because Fahad is aging in jail, rotting while he is tortured. His family has been waiting for justice. We sincerely hope that as a fellow Pakistani, you take whatever means necessary to appeal for Fahad's immediate release. He was the only bread-earner for the family.
We demand immediate action for the release of Muhammad Fahad.
