Greetings of Peace!
Political prisoner, Yvon Neptune, Haitis former Prime Minister, lies on the verge of death from a hunger strike, initiated because the new Haitian government has jailed him for 10 months without formal charges, in violation of Haitis constitution.
The NCHR has accused Mr. Neptune of participation in a massacre in St. Marc in Feb. 2004, but the current government has never offered any proof the massacre actually took place, and UN independent expert Louis Joinet recently dismissed accounts of the massacre.
Please direct the new government in Haiti to release Yvon Neptune.
