We, the undersigned, respectfully request that you, Artisan Home Entertainment, release "The Resurrected" on DVD.
This film, originally released in the early 90's by Live Entertainment (whose film library Artisan now owns) was directed by Dan O'Bannon (who was responsible for writing/directing the classic "The Return of the Living Dead" as well as writing "Alien" and "Total Recall") and stars Chris Sarandon ("Fright Night").
"The Resurrected" is considered by many to be the best film adaptation of an H.P. Lovecraft story. It is certainly the most faithful.
While a 'special edition' is not required (though fans would certainly welcome it), we request that the film be presented in it's OAR (original aspect ratio), uncut and be given the best video/audio presentation possible. An audio commentary track by director Dan O'Bannon would be ideal.
