Request to eliminate Regular Street Vehicles A.K.A. Hacks and Ex-Taxis In Baltimore City

Request to eliminate Regular Street Vehicles A.K.A. Hacks and Ex-taxis with no markings and no P.S.C. medallions displayed on vehicle which are operating illegally as a Taxi for hire without carrying the proper insurance to be insuring the public as there passengers and have not obtained a permit from P.S.C. in Baltimore City.





This petition is being requested to stop the illegal operation of vehicles A.K.A hacks and ex-taxis that are endangering the public safety of others by not having the proper insurance, may not even carry a class A drivers license and permit and/or Taxi for Hire badge, and also display a bad image to public Towards the taxi companys because of the reflection of there high and unregulated taxi meters and driver(s.





As many of us still see a lot of these unregulated Street Vehicles A.K.A. Hacks and Ex-taxis with no markings and no P.S.C. medallions displayed on vehicle are still picking up and dropping off passengers and operating in an illegal manner with also a very high rate meter or none at all in the vehicle in Baltimore City.





WE ARE REQUESTING THAT THOSE WHO ARE OPERATING OUTSIDE OF THE COMAR REGUALTIONS (20.90.02) AND THE LAW NEED BE ATTENDED TO IMEDATLLY, VHEICALS SHOULD BE IMPOUNDED, TAGS SUPENDED, AND CITAIONS ISSUED HERE IN BALTIMORE CITY.
