Many Northeast Wisconsin viewers have been anxiously awaiting the premiere of ABC's new series "V," however Green Bay's ABC affiliate WBAY (owned by Young Broadcasting) has decided to replace the program in primetime with its own locally-produced Packer talk show "Tuesday Night Touchback." Doing this delays airing of new episodes of "V" until Saturdays at 11:05 PM, and makes the airings vulnerable to delayed starts by football game overtime, which would make DVR recording complicated. Also, not airing "V" in its scheduled primetime slot prevents the vast majority of Northeast Wisconsin viewers from seeing the series in high-definition. Very few Northeast Wisconsin viewers with Time Warner Cable may be able to see the show on Milwaukee's WISN, however their HD signal is not available to them. As of 11/4/09 at 9:00 AM, 88\% of poll respondents on FoxCitiesTV.com stated they would rather see "V" in its normal timeslot than "Tuesday Night Touchback." The undersigned request that WBAY restore "V" to its nationally-broadcast timeslot.
