RESERVATION IN IIM FOR WARDS OF DEFENCE PERSONNEL

Sir/Ma'am,
We,the student community of India is looking forward to the wave of change and progress under your regime. We,speak on the behalf of wards of all defence personnel. We have been provided 5% percent reservation in colleges/university by Government of India but this reservation applies to only certain universities/colleges like Delhi University and Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai. Top institutes like the Indian Institute of Management ( IIMs ) and others don't provide reservation to wards of defence personnel. This is biased and discriminatory because other categories like SC/ST/OBC/PH are provided reservation across the country in all institutes including the Indian Institute of Management ( IIMs ). We request you to look into this matter and make the 5% reservation mandatory in all institutes including Indian Institute of Management ( IIMs ) and the others across the country so that we also have a chance to pursue our dreams and ambitions. There are only sixteen weeks left for the oncoming Centralized Admission Test (CAT) and we request you to kindly ensure the reservation across all institutes in India before that as it will benefit lot of ex servicemen and serving personnel and their wards for a better future. Hoping to see that we are better represented across the country and it will be a honour to all defence personnel and thier wards if this reservation is applied across the country without bias.
