Respect Workers Rights: Change the Location of Gala

As a student of Brown University and a member of the Providence community, I am deeply concerned that this years Gala is currently scheduled to be held at the Westin Hotel, where management has violated the rights of workers by imposing 20\% pay cuts and 300-400\% hikes in health care costs. In support of the worker-called boycott at the Westin, I will not purchase a ticket for or attend the Gala unless the location is changed. I will not cross the Westin workers picket line or endorse the Westin managements unfair labor practices. I am deeply disappointed that this event was scheduled with disregard for the rights of workers in our community.
