We, the signers of this petition, agree that the character of the Authority, the Church, and all references to religion should not be edited within the film adaptations of Philip Pullmans His Dark Materials series (The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass) . We believe that changing these items will greatly impair the story and theme of these movies. We understand that including these items will cause controversy, but regardless of controversy we, the fans, will still pay to see this film.
