Return Mechwarrior to the PC

To the powers that be at Microsoft,

As fans of the Mechwarrior game series, we have come together to ask Microsoft to reconsider its position of removing support from the PC and moving all Mechwarrior development to the X-Box.

The PC community for Mechwarrior is alive and thriving, with leagues like Mechwarriorleagues.com, Netbattletech.com and others still drawing large memberships.

This community is dedicated and committed to the simulation feel and online enjoyment the PC based version of the Mechwarrior series provides. We are people with a passion toward our favorite game, a game that despite age and no support has continued to be strong.

While the X-Box series of the game has appeal to many gamers, it does not scratch the itch that those of us in the PC community feel. Its arcade style play, when compared to the simulation style of the PC versions, leaves many of the games original fans out in the cold. The very people that made the Mechwarrior series great, the fans and consumers of the PC versions of the series are now left wanting.

To this end we ask that Microsoft once again bring support for the Mechwarrior series back to where it began, the PC. The PC series is what made the franchise great and is where it's brightest future lies.
