RIAA Music Download Proposition

We, The Undersigned, have demed this more of a proposition than a petition. We propose that the RIAA, in order to maintain good consumer relations, and in order to keep music downloads free, start an ad-based music download service through use of banner advertisements and the like.

Rather than intrusive spyware, these banner advertisements can be placed unobtrusively in a computer application, or on a web-based service. Revenue can be generated through these sponsored advertisements.

A lot of people have stopped downloading music entirely, or have moved to iTunes or other paid solutions to keep downloading music. This solution would keep all music free and still generate revenue for the RIAA through their service, should they agree to the above proposition.

The Undersigned agree to support such a service and would use it accordingly. It is up to the RIAA to decide whether or not they would like to follow through on this proposition.
