Rutherford College Commons Room

The following petition is a statement of interest and integrity made by the students of Rutherford College. We acknowledge the need for a seventh form common room as both a centre of study and as a secure place for the senior cohort to socialize. We recognize the need for an informal study environment and the importance of giving responsibility and trust to youth. The following signed agree with the proposal that a seventh form common room is a desirable and fundamental element of life as a senior student. They also acknowledge that if granted a commons room, they would to the limits of their ability, strive to maintain a functional, clean and positive commons room and endeavor to preserve the commons room for the years to come.
