To The City of St. Catharines
Due to the recent tragic accident on Niagara Street where Jessica Cormier was struck by a vehicle and knocked over the bridge onto the road below, we the undersigned feel that all St. Catharines bridges should have safety rails, like the one crossing St. Paul West, in order to avoid any such occurrences again. We feel the bridge should be named after Jessica so her death will not be in vain.

Why cant every bridge have the same safety rails? I dont think it would hurt our government to make sure that every bridge comes standard with these precautions. Whether its for the reason of being hit or suicides. Common sense its a bridge, someone could

I used to live on Vine just before the gas station. We used to walk over that bridge to go to Victoria, we moved because we found Niagara Street to unsafe.
