Dear DeviantART Administration,
We, the users of DeviantART, are no longer pleased with the way the Administrative staff have been handling violation reports, harassment reports, and other community relations tasks. We have noticed a serious decline in the number of report tickets handled, and those that are handled are given inconclusive results and deemed solved with no action taken, even if it is a valid claim that anyone else would find offensive. Trolls have run many popular artists off of the site, art theft has become more commonplace than original art, and responses to these issues has become almost nill. There have been many complaints on this issue, and all have seen no action, therefore, we petition you, the DeviantART site Administration. Either we get constructive group talks going and get on the road for change, or those of us who sign the petition refuse to purchase Subscriptions, DeviantWEAR, Stress Balls, Prints, and all other items available to the community to purchase. We understand that this is a dramatic and heavily drastic action to take against a site we all once loved, but we feel that it is necessary in order to help improve the site and get the ball rolling toward more constructive talks between Administrative Staff and Members. Thank you in advance to anyone who wishes to sign the petition, and thank you to the Administration, in advance, for taking the time to realize the claims and understand that change is severely needed.
