Save Mr. Seymour!

We the students of Northwest High School think that Brian Seymour is a wonderful teacher, one of the best, if not the best, at Northwest High School. While his class may be rigorous and at times tough, we realize that it is an honors class and we have prepared to take the adequate measures to succeed in his class. We also acknowledge the fact that he does teach AP and by signing up for AP we knew that we were entering the level of a college course. The homework he assigns, while it may be constant and at sometimes lengthy, is justified and is treated as such by him. If a task is assigned and collected, it is graded and returned to us by the next day. We revere this speed and attention to detail, not to mention the comments and suggestions he leaves on our papers.

To ask Brian Seymour to step down would be a travesty and make a mockery of the words Advanced Placement, and honors. We make this petition to fight for one of the best teachers we have ever had, and to represent the opinions of those who truly define the recognition of Honors and Advanced Placement.
