In recognition of the fundamental 147-year relationship of St. Stephen-in-the-Fields Anglican Church with its parish in Kensington, as well as with the wider community of Toronto,
I strongly support the congregations request to remain in the historic home intended for them by Col. Robert B. Denison in 1858 and assigned by him to be held in trust for this purpose by the Anglican Diocese;
and I ask that the Diocese formally approve a plan, with the congregations participation, to guarantee their principal tenancy - and thus their continued ministry to new Canadians, the needy, childrens groups, musicians, theatre, ESL, spiritual exercise and liturgical worship - at their current address of 103 Bellevue Avenue.
