We present here a poem by Tanaya Thakur, a student of Class XI in Lucknow. Here she describes the emotions and feelings of a girl child in her mother's womb and the negative thoughts she is confronted with.

Institute for Research and Documentation in Social Sciences (IRDS), Lucknow strongly requests everyone to completely stop female infanticide in all circumstances.
This Petition is intended for each and every Father and Mother and prospective Father and Mother in India and all such countries where Girls are being killed even in the womb only on the basis of their gender.
