The City of Washougal, citing budgetary concerns, may close down the area's only no-kill animal shelter. We, the citizens of Camas and Washougal, urge the city council to find it in their hearts to shift monies from other non-essential budgets to save our no-kill shelter. The lives of many innocent dogs and cats depend on this decision and we hope the council will find it in their hearts to save theseand many futureanimals' lives as an important and compassionate holiday gift.
