Dear Fellow Muslim,

Assalmu Alaikum,

We, the members of the North Austin Muslim Community have been made aware of the gross improprieties and injustice that is being carried out in your name by the Executive Committee (EC) of the North Austin Muslim Community Center (NAMCC).

Rest assured this is not an attempt to drag the greater Austin Muslim community into some sort of political battle between two groups. This is indeed an attempt to end the political games being played by the EC of the NAMCC for the past year. These games have threatened and resulted in the closure of the Hifz School. This has deprived, your Muslim children, from their school year. These children who have dedicated their time to learn the Holy Quran by heart are now being sacrificed due to the political desires of NAMCC-EC.

We, the members of North Austin Muslim Community are dismayed and shocked by the decision of NAMCC-EC to abnormally terminate the contract of Maulana Abdul Wahhab, the respected scholar and Hifz school teacher, resulting in the closure of the Hifz School.

In terminating his contract, the NAMCC-EC has leveled charges against the Maulana, which are false. Furthermore these charges result in a breach of contract and defamation of the character of the respected Maulana.

We urge you as fellow Muslims, to help us save the future of your dedicated Muslim kids, who only desire to learn the Holy Quran. Please sign this petition to indicate that you desire:

The Maulana be restored to his position and the Hifz school should be reopened immediately as per the wishes of the parents and the children enrolled in the Hifz school.
The EC of the NAMCC should be relieved of their duties forthwith for their gross injustice and mismanagement of the affairs of the House of Allah.

May Allah give you tremendous blessings for helping in correcting the injustice being carried out in the House of Allah by the EC-NAMCC.
