Showers in Jowett Walk

The majority of Jowett Walk residents have no access to Shower Facilities. Showers would use much less water than the baths currently provided and be more convenient. Therefore, the Merton Graduate community is strongly in favour of College providing shower facilities for the residents of Jowett Walk.

Why was the building designed in such an archaic way?! Showers are much preferable to baths if one has to choose. Ideally, both should be provided!
