Windsor Animal Rescue, once known as Windsor Pet Shop has spent the better part of a year in the media due to it's unethical business practices, disgusting public attacks against other local rescues( including the Windsor Humane Society) and poor treatment of animals in it's care. Purported as a "rescue" it is in reality a Pet Shop that also takes in owner surrenders and does adoptions for a fee. This is NOT a non profit, but rather a "for profit" business. Adoptions are $260 on top of a $40 surrender fee. Animals are not spayed or neutered and kept in less than sanitary conditions.
Far too many animals have already suffered at the hands of this faux rescue. Please sign to show you care about the animals and help get this place shut down.
