The New Brunswick government has introduced a law which comes into effect on October first 2004, as of that date no one will be allowed to smoke in public places anywhere. We understand how second hand smoke can be harmful to other around us, however, seeing as the government is not ready to outlaw cigarette smoking or the selling of tobacco product, we says that this is going one step to far. Forcing peoples to put sign up which would indicate that smoking is allowed or not allowed in a certain area would be fine that way non smoker would have the choise to enter or stay out of an establishment. I dont smoke in cars or in places where children are located, if a person asks me to put a cigarette out I do so if it seem to be brothering them, but forcing smoker to hide in shame for a habit they cant seem to quite is asking a bit to much. So re-write your law or bring it down. By signing I agree with what is said here!
