We the undersigned call on the Students' Union of the University of Essex not to show solidarity with the Islamic University of Gaza. To do so would be to show partiality in a sensitive international issue and detract from the main job of the Students' Union. Although we lament any death, we call upon the Students' Union to focus on the issues it can change and attempt to steer away from international affairs.

This is preposterous. It is like as if the SU have solved all problems at Uni that they want to take up International Issues. And, without any intentions of hurting anyone's sentiments, showing soidarity and things doesnt work. These things demand stroger
