Square-Enix and Taxes

The people of Final Fantasy XI in the Odin server are requesting something be done about this newly placed tax on Jeuno's Auction House. The price in which you must pay to put items up for sale is ridiculous. If we want to put expensive items, such as a Serket Ring, or a Scorpion harness, we are going to be paying Hundreds of Thousands of gil just putting it up, and that's not even guaranteed that it will sell. So basically we're just wasting money. We would like to petition that you put the taxes back to the old formula, and fix the prices. If the intention of getting rid of gilsellers, it will not happen, because you're hurting people that pay to play this game as well. If you want to look at it from a different perspective, this may encourage more people to purchase gil online, because they will need extra gil just to put things on the Auction House.
