Stand Against Discrimination

After reading my friend Pat's blog, he stated that a friend of his may go to jail. Before you jump to conclusions, let me give you some insight. This a quote from his blog:

"Although most of you already know (or soon will know, because it'll be in the paper tomorrow and all over the internet), me and my friends blew up part of Fort Edward school. I've never had any affiliation with Fort Edward school, but some of my friends did, and from what I understand, it deserved to be torched. Maybe not the school, but a lot of the people in it. I know what we did was a little extreme, but until you judge us, you should have tried walking a week in our shoes back then. Maybe you would have thought differently.... I don't want sympathy, and neither do the rest of us. All we ever wanted was understanding and respect, but we got neither. WE GOT SHIT, AND A LOT OF IT, EVERY FUCKING DAY. So fuck you, fuck all of you that have ever tormented us for no apparent reason."

""We're spit on, made fun of, punched, kicked, beaten up, ignored, and neglected, AND WE'RE THE ONES WITH THE FUCKING "PROBLEMS AND ISSUES!?!? We need counseling, therapy and medication, because we're "crazy", but not the people that have done all this to us....when we finally strike back and defend ourselves and our pride and dignity, we're the "bad guys". It's everyone's ignorance and lack of compassion is what's wrong with this world, with both the misguided youth and the even more pathetic adults (who claim to know it all and are blindly in charge when many are clearly incompetent dipshits that are worse than children). We take the punishment for simply fighting to exist. No matter what we do is "wrong" when we actually act....We take it and try to ignore it, and we're pussies. We fight back and we get our asses kicked, we're wimps. We strike back and take them down, and we're the ones that take the fall.....where the hell is the logic in all of this? Where is this, so called "justice"?"

"One of my closest friends could be serving possible prison time, and he had the worst life out of all of us. He doesn't deserve jail....I'm not saying he deserves a medal of honor, but jail is for bad people....and he is NOT a bad person, and if you claim he is, I want you to take a long, hard look at your life. Chances are, you deserve to be in his place."

This is only a little of what I read, and still its gets me. Why should someone be placed in jail, if he was standing up for himself? Why are people like us, goths, emo, lesbians, gays, punks, ect. picked on, and beaten on for who we are, then our authorities dont do anything, and when we fight back, why do they punish us? Its like a constant itch on a missing limb.

This isnt right, this kid should be punished for this. Sign if you agree with me.
