Stop Deforestation in Romania/Start reforestation Opriti despaduririle din Romania si porniti reimpaduririle

This Petition is placed in two languages: English and Romanian

By signing this petition you urge and add responsibility the aforementioned leaders and decision makers of Romania, the European Union and United Nations to stop deforestation in Romania. They need also to start a campaign of reforestation in Romania of the affected areas.

According to Romanian deputy Mr. Iancu from the Romanian Parliament in recent time more than 40,000 Hectares of forest were clear cut. Yes, they were deforested. Also the local TV stations such as PRO TV and others mediatized these problems.

Deforestation is a serious problem and has diverse implications. Forest provide habitat and many niches for ecosystems. Deforestation affects Biodiversity. Forests fix up the soil and prevent erosion. Forests slow the water cycle down and allow for more water to be absorbed by the soil; thus, forest allow water to enter aquifers more readily. Forests decrease the impact of flooding from severe storms that are more potent and occur with increased frequency in the recent times. Many innocent helpless bystanders are affected in the rural zones. Forests provide a carbon sink. Yes, along with other plant life, forests are involved in the process of photosynthesis where they use carbon dioxide from the atmosphere along with water and sun's energy to produce the much needed oxygen and also produce sugars, cellulose and other compounds thus building biomass by trapping son's energy. Forests are a tool for fighting pollution. Plants even absorb radionuclide.
Finally forests help mitigate climate change or the so called Global Warming effect. Destroying forests only worsen the situation. Destroying forests is nonsense. Stop deforestation!

I urge you to immediately start reforestation of the damaged areas. View it as a long term investment.

Semnind aceasta petitie Dumneavoastra indemnati si adaugati raspundere susnumitilor conducator si producatori de decizii din Romania, Uniunea Europeana si Natiunilor Unite ca sa opreasca despaduririle din Romania. Dinsii trebuie de asemeni sa porneasca o campanie de reimpaduriri ale zonelor afectate din Romania.

Conform domnului deputat Iancu din Parlamentul Romaniei, recent, mai mult de 40.000 de Hectare de padure au fost doborite in Romania. Da au fost despadurite. De asemeni posturi locale TV cum este PRO TV si altele au mediatizat aceste probleme.

Despadurirea este o problema serioasa si are implicari diverse. Padurile produc loc de viata sau habitat pentru multe nise ale ecosistemelor. Despaduririle afecteaza Biodiversitatea. Padurile fixeaza solul si preintimpina eroziunea solului. Padurile incetinesc circuitul apei si permit la absorbirea apei in sol asa in cit padurea permite apei sa intre in pinze freatice cu o mai mare eficienta. Padurile scad incidenta si efectele inundatiilor cauzate de puternice furtuni care sunt din ce in ce mai severe si care au o frecventa sporita in perioadele recente. Multi oameni inocenti si lipsiti de ajutor sunt afectati de inundatii in zonele rurale in perioade recente. Padurile produc o capcana a carbonului. Padurile sunt inglobate si active in procesul de fotosinteza si folosesc bioxidul de carbon din atmosfera impreuna cu apa si energia solara ca sa produca mult necesarul oxigen si diverse zaharide si celuloza construind biomasa prin capturarea energiei solare. Padurile sunt o metoda si pentru lupata impotriva poluarii. Padurile absorb chiar si elementi radioactivi. In sfirsit, padurile tempereaza efectele climaterice, asa numita incalzire globala.
Distrugind padurile face numai ca situatia sa se inrautateasca. Distrugerea padurilor nu are sens. Opriti despaduririle!
Va indemn ca imediat sa incepeti impaduririle ariilor devastate. Considerati aceasta actiune ca pe o investitie pe termen lung.
