Stop "Friends" Being Cancelled From E4

As you may know the hit TV show "Friends" has been running continuously for the last 6 years on E4, after it was cancelled on May 6th 2004. They have recently announced that in 2011 they are going to be stopping the showing of "Friends" on E4. I watch this show religiously and I know many people who do as well.

For 16 years "Friends" has graced our TV sets with the stories of Rachel, Ross, Monica, Joey, Chandler, and of course Phoebe. What would our evening TV viewing be without it. It would be like loosing a best friend of 16 years, (forgive the pun), who has stuck by you through everything. As it's theme tune says "I'll be there for you".

I can't imagine not coming home on an evening to turn on the TV to Phoebe's renditions of "Smelly Cat", Joey's infamous "How you doing?" (come on girls how do you not swoon at it?). In my opinion it is a travesty that E4 are going to be cancelling the show.

Due to this recent announcement I have decided to hereby put together this petition to send off to the executives of Channel 4 to show them that the people will miss "Friends" if they do stop airing the show. With enough signatures I hope that they will not continue on their decision to stop showing friends.
