Sir Peter Jackson's remake of the film The Dambusters is to change history, by renaming Wing Commander Guy Gibson's dog Nigger to Digger.
Nigger's name was used as a code word when the famously brave bomber crews of the Dambusters 617 Sqn flew on their historic mission during WW2 to bomb the Ruhr Dams with the now famous Barnes Wallis Bouncing Bomb.
People should not be allowed to change historical names in film making.
Nigger is part of the History of WW2. You can't change History.
Nigger is buried at RAF Scampton and his grave constantly tended.
