STOP WAR ON IRAQ

We, the people of the world, know that our present and our future depend in a great way, on our capabilities for joining great causes.

One of the major causes is just our commitment for ending war, all the wars, as a way of solving differences, controversies, and conflicts.

So, in the name of Humankind, in the name of our universal brotherhood, in the name of every human being in earth, we, the signing people of this letter, want to encourage all the inhabitants of the world, and mostly, the leaders of our communities, of our countries, to support this call, this pledge, this exigency, this, beg, for a very simple petition:


STOP WAR ON IRAQ !!!


- For it is a war based in a big lie: the existence of weapons of massive destruction in Iraq.

- For it was a war unilaterally called against the will of the U.N.

- For it has taken the lives of more than 100.000 innocent civil people of Iraq.

- For it has taken the lives of more than 1500 U.S. soldiers that went to fight an illegal and immoral war.

- For it has been a font of indescribable, countless, and horrendous war crimes, and crimes against the Humanity, resulting in a massive scale of Human Rights violations.

- For it has resulted in the physical and cultural destruction of the ancient cradle of humankind.

- For it is an intolerable affront against the dignity, sovereignty, and humanity of the people of the world.

- For it has contributed not to end, but to increase the actions and threats of terrorism in the world.

- For this war is a terrible threat of destabilization of the world in politic, social, military, ecologic, and economic terms.

- For the real cause of this war is the oil of Iraq. No more blood for oil !


This reasons are only ten of many possible. We urge the people of the world, but over all, the people of USA to demand to your congressmen, to your leaders, and of course, to the U.S. government to join all together, to join all the people over the world in a single statement:
