To the Board of Directors of Fuji Heavy Industries:
I, along with the co-signers of this petition, are asking that you produce a Plug-In Hybrid Subaru vehicle based on the Impreza platform. We understand that you are currently working on a few different hybrid models but we believe the plug-in hybrid is the next step and that, perhaps with Toyota's help, Subaru may be able to take the plug-in hybrid concept and apply it to the legendary sports car that is the Impreza (and your other models as well). We all love Subaru and the vehicles you produce and hope that you will provide us with a plug-in hybrid option at a reasonable price that we are more than willing to purchase. We would hate to have to buy a different brand of vehicle because Subaru did not have an option for us. Thank you so much for your time and for producing quality vehicles for a great price.

I've owned Subarus since 1983, including 1999 and 2003 Foresters now. Future cars will be a plugin hybrid or something even more green. I'd love to stay in the Subaru family but see no options for me on the horizon. Get it done!

I'd prefer a Legacy Station Wagon hybrid plugin (can hybrids have standard transmissions??? Please!) but would settle for the Impreza in a pinch.
