Support for parents of DC

Being a college student is tough! Being a college student plus a parent is even harder. At Durham College there are supports for multiple things including religion, different cultures, and mental health. What is lacking is support for parents. If day care falls through or there's a P.A Day, us parents are left scrambling trying to make last minute daycare arrangements or we end up staying home missing out on class. There is also extra financial stress and trying to balance work, children, and school. If you are a parent of DC, know of one or you agree that there needs to be some kind of support for student parents please take a moment and sign this petition today. Parents attending college are trying to better their lives to give their children the best future possible.
