Support House Bill 1793

The purpose of this petition is to show support to Indiana House Bill 1793. House Bill 1793, if passed, would allow inmates to get 3 days credit time for each day served(rather than just 1). The inmate is required to have completed 2 educational programs. If this bill were to pass, it would save taxpayers money for inmates who are rehabilitated, serving less time. Also, it would benefit our society by releasing more college graduates who have a means to become peaceful and productive members of our society.
