We recognize that Americas addiction to unsustainable fossil fuels endangers our nations security, our economy, and, most importantly, the health of our planet.
We believe that the Biofuels Security Act of 2007 (S. 23) offers a real opportunity to stem the growing crisis of global warming while simultaneously breaking our dependence on foreign governments and giving our Texas farmers a chance to grow our economy by contributing to E85 fuels.
Therefore, we, the undersigned, respectfully request that you support S. 23 while in committee and, subsequently, when it is voted on by the entire Senate.
