Take MAD TV off the air.

Dear FOX and Comedy Central,

We the people deserve better than MAD TV. MAD TV is the worst sketch comedy show in existence because it consistently defies the most important rule of improve and sketch comedy: always say yes. Constantly, two people get into a wacky situation, then start arguing, or fighting. About half the time someone gets coated in some sort of gross goo or something. It's predictable, low-brow humor that a five year old can think of.

This deserves to be on some channel in the high 700s, not on network and cable network television. When I want to sit around at watch Comedy Central between classes I can't, because MAD TV is on and like almost anyone else, I'd rather be dead than watch MAD TV.

Great sketch comedy shows like SNL (in it's glory days), The Whitest Kids U' Know, and many others use creative writing and realistic acting in normal situations. Rarely will you see a stupid midget gimmick. Say yes, act normal in wacky situations (like Anchorman). What you do on MAD TV is act wacky in normal situations. Like throwing a clown into a birthday party. Clowns aren't funny. They're annoying because they're TRYING TO HARD to be funny. That is MAD TV. The arm-flailing, "Oh-my-god-this-is-crazy-what's-going-on" humor that MAD TV employs is cheap and stupid. Please cease and desist with the show. Instead, get The Whitest Kids on a big network. Or Derrick Comedy. Or Tim and Eric. Or a random group of middle schoolers. That would somehow be funnier.
